BPA Free

There have been numerous media reports regarding concerns about Bisphenol A (BPA). This chemical is found in polycarbonate, the material that baby feeding bottles have been made from for generations. Polycarbonate is durable and very clear in appearance, hence it's popularity.

In 2010 we have alternatives to polycarbonate, so Griptight decided to phase out the use of the material. It just seems better to do this whilst the various

academic groups compare test results in search of the definitive answer. There is a financial implication as new material cannot be manufactured in the same way, but  investment for new tooling was made during 2009 in order to provide a full range of BPA free products.
